What launched
Pragmatic Play Live's Sweet Bonanza CandyLand 2 went live in the America777 lobby at 09:00 UTC on 22 April. The sequel to the original 2022 CandyLand keeps the same hosted-wheel format but redesigns three things: the bonus round (new "Multiplier Wheel"), the mobile UI (now one-handed thumb-zone optimised), and the side-bet ladder.
The original CandyLand stays live in parallel — Pragmatic has indicated both versions will run side-by-side through Q3, with CandyLand 1 sunset planned for late September 2026.
Multiplier Wheel — what it does
The headline new feature is the Multiplier Wheel bonus round, triggered when the main wheel lands on the new "Wheel" slot (one segment per spin). When triggered, all qualifying players see a second wheel pop in the centre of the screen with the following multiplier distribution:

Mobile UI redesign
The biggest non-maths change: the mobile UI is now one-handed-thumb-zone optimised. Bet placement controls dock to the bottom 30% of the screen, primary actions sit within thumb reach in portrait orientation, and the chat shelf collapses into a slide-up tray instead of taking a permanent right-rail. Tested across iPhone 13–15 Pro and Pixel 7–8; iPad and tablet players still get the legacy two-handed UI.

Editor's take
The Multiplier Wheel is the right kind of escalation — a properly newsworthy 50,000× ceiling without making the main-wheel maths worse. Pragmatic has been losing live-casino mindshare to Evolution all year and CandyLand 2 is the studio's clearest answer yet. The mobile UI redesign is also overdue and well-executed; the new thumb-zone layout is genuinely better for one-handed phone play.
