Release date and exclusivity window
Le Bandit 2 launched globally on 19 April 2026, including the America777 catalogue. Unlike Sugar Rush 1000 there is no exclusivity window — the title is available on every Hacksaw partner from launch day.
The free-play demo for Le Bandit 2 is live. A full long-form review is queued for the week of 28 April; the math notes below are the desk's first-pass observations from a 30-minute session and the studio's published math sheet.
What's new vs the original
Le Bandit 1 (2022) was a four-symbol heist-themed slot with one bonus mode and a 13,000× cap. Le Bandit 2 (2026) ships with three bonus modes, all selectable from the in-game buy menu:
| Mode | Cost (× bet) | Behaviour |
|---|---|---|
| Vault Buy | 75× | Standard 8 free spins, no extra multiplier |
| Heist Buy | 125× | 8 free spins + sticky police-car wilds with random multipliers up to 100× |
| Mega Heist | 500× | 12 spins, all wins multiply by an accumulating heist meter; 25,000× cap reachable |
Mega Heist is the headline feature — and the only path to the 25,000× max win. Vault Buy and Heist Buy cap at 13,000× (same as the original).
Volatility note
Stated RTP dropped from 96.50% in the original to 95.50% in the sequel — a deliberate variance reshape, not an oversight. The studio uses the 1% to fund the higher max-win cap and the third bonus tier. Hit frequency on the base game is 25.6% (vs 27.9% in the original); base-game wins of 10×+ are slightly rarer.
For grinders this is a marginal expected-value loss; for streamers and bonus-buy players the maths is roughly neutral because the higher Mega Heist ceiling absorbs the missing percentage point.
Where to play
- Free demo: Le Bandit 2 demo
- Real-money: play Le Bandit 2 for real — welcome-pack eligible
- Drops & Wins contribution: 1.0× weighting (qualifying for the $5m monthly Pragmatic prize pool, even though Hacksaw publishes the slot — the operator pools both feeds)
Editor's take
Le Bandit 2 is for the variance-tolerant. The Mega Heist tier is the right kind of streamer-bait — a published 25,000× ceiling that is mathematically reachable from the bonus state. Players who liked the original's pacing should test the demo first: the new base-game tuning feels noticeably drier, and Vault Buy at 75× is no longer the "value buy" it was in the original.
